Alex Jaehyun Kim (b.1988) is a Korean-American contemporary artist living in South Korea. His work mainly explores the philosophical concept of ‘ontology’ and how practice and medium/media of art sustain our sense of living. He works in various forms of media, such as drawings, moving images, installation, and performance. Currently, he works as an individual artist and an educator specializing in the theme of ‘coexistence with self-exploration’.

알렉스 김(1988生)은 한국에 거주하는 동시대 미술작가이다. 그의 작업은 주로 '존재론'이라는 철학적 개념에 기반하여 어떻게 예술적 실천과 매체가 우리 삶의 실존감을 유지하는지 탐구한다. 그는 드로잉, 영상, 설치, 퍼포먼스 등 다양한 형식의 매체로 작업한다. 현재 '자아 탐구와 공존'을 주제로 예술 작업 및 교육 활동을 하고 있다.
